Filter configurations

Below is a full list of all the possible filters selectable via the filter list. The datasniffer can have up to six of these available - or five, alongside a ‘demo’ function.

Everything

Configuration name: everything

What does it include: All London Development Database applications

Involves demolition

Configuration name: textsearch-demolition

Variable field: sitearea_total

What does it include: Applications that involve demolition, as described in the description field of the application.

Involves construction work

Configuration name: textsearch-construction

What does it include: Applications that involve any construction work, as described in the description field of the application.

Change of use

What does it include: Applications that involve a change of use, as detailed in the description field of the database.

Change to housing

What does it include: Any application that involves a change to residential units

Change to non-residential indoor space

Configuration name: change-to-nonres

What does it include: Any application that changes nonresidential floorspace (e.g. businesses, public services etc)

Change to open space

Configuration name: change-to-openspace

What does it include: Any application where there is a change to open space - either loss, gain, or change in type.

Proposed social housing

Configuration name: socialhousing-proposed

Variable field: proposed_socialhousing

What does it include: Any application which proposes to build any social housing (does not have to build more than it destroys)

Existing social housing

Configuration name: socialhousing-exists

Variable field: existing_socialhousing

What does it include: Any application where there is existing social housing on the proposed site (regardless of whether it will remain, be removed or replaced).

Decrease in social housing units

Configuration name: socialhousing-decrease

Variable field: sitearea_total

What does it include: Any application that causes a net decline in the number of social housing units on the site.

Increase in social housing units

Configuration name: socialhousing-increase

Variable field: sitearea_total

What does it include: Any application that causes a net increase in the number of social housing units on the site.

Within conservation area

Configuration name: in-conservationarea

What does it include: Any application within a conservation area (requires supplementing with data from outside the London Development Database.)

Has received objecting comments

What does it include: Applications where at least one person has objected to what has been proposed (requires supplementing with data from outside the London Development Database.)

Has received supportive comments

Configuration name: comments-supports

What does it include: Applications where at least one person has objected to what has been proposed (requires supplementing with data from outside the London Development Database.)

Bat mitigation present

What does it include: Applications that have had mitigation requirements as a condition of planning, in order to benefit bats (requires supplementing with data from outside the London Development Database.)
