Steps

  • Drill small holes into top of small piece of wood to allow unused connectors of rotary switch to slot firmly into place.
  • Drill a large hole in the long piece of wood to allow the rotary switch shaft to poke through, aligned so the rotary switch and wood are towards one side, but do not poke out beyond the wood.
  • Drill small holes into underside of the long piece of wood, aligning with the perf board. Use the screws and nuts to secure it into position.
  • Attach the small piece of wood to the long piece of wood using the bamboo struts and boring screws, drilling holes to prevent you from splitting either the struts or the wood.
  • Secure the control knob on top of the rotary switch, so its indicator line points turns along the long side of the long piece of wood (e.g. between 6 and 11 o’clock)
