Primary Pi HAT

The Primary HAT sits on top of the Raspberry Pi, allowing other boards and components to connect to the Pi through it.

Components

  • Adafruit Perma-Proto HAT for Raspberry Pi A+, B+ or 2
  • 4 pin female header
  • 4 x 3 pin female JST connector (2 for slide potentiometers, one for filter switch board, one for noisemaker board)
  • 4 pin female JST connector
  • 16 pin socket (for MCP3008 chip)
  • MCP3008 Analogue to Digital Convertor
  • Wire
  • Solder

  • Wire cutter
  • Craft knife
  • Soldering iron

Notes

You may need to use the knife to sever some of the underlying connectors on the Perma-Proto HAT to ensure all components can fit on the board.
