Technical docs for bio|audio maps

This section provides component lists, circuit diagrams and code for all the equipment used to conduct the bio|audio mapping experiments in 2018. The main elements are as follows:

Location|Stimulation sensor

This combines a GPS receiver with a Galvanic Skin Response sensor, via a Teensy Board.

A hand holding a bat detector

Recording the bat detector

Instructions on how to record the audio from a bat detector, and synchronise this with the location|stimulation sensor.

A picture of some computer code.

Data conversion scripts

A set of scripts to thread sensor and audio data together into a bio|audio data map.

A snapshot of a bio|audio datamap

Interactive map sketch

Interactive map software that synthesises audio, stimulation and GPS data to facilitate in-depth conversations about bat walking.
